    hi guys is there anyway you get get the adress of a car owner from the number plate? some one has ripped my daughter off, so i need to give there door a knock, thankyou in advance

        ... not sure if this will help but there is a site called Publicdata and for a small member fee you can get alot of information on what you are looking for...hope this helps.

              You can get a form from the DVLA to request the data, it's a V888, you'd prob have to deal direct with DVLA swansea as i doubt many local offices will keep one....

              But you need to provide a very specific and valid reason for needing the data (eg scratched your car a driven off)... and if they are convinced your reason is valid, they'll release the data (for a fee of a few quid).

              Not THAT easy to do but hardly as confidential as all this data protection bullsh1t makes out...

                  i never said she got ripped off over a car,just that she had the reg number, it was a lodger who she let (foolishly) run up 2 month rent,the police cannot do anything as its a civil matter, anyway the car as been spotted by 1 of her friends about 5 mile from her so it wont be long before i catch up with him, cheers all
