i have just done my xmas shopping (1 hour) i always put it off till the last possible minute and i have come to the conclusion i absolutely hate christmas with a passion


i like to see the kids open prezzies but after that i hate everything about it including families and being nice its all too false for me


does anyone feel the same or am i just a miserable old git i have 8 people coming round for dinner tommorow i am tempted just too sit in the shed on my own

As a young grandpa I love to see my grand kids open gifts with joy. Oh, my vissa card company thinks I am a food because they smile to the bank.

I think its ok if others respect your space and the fact you may want to celebrate it in your own unique way. Otherwise I agree its just another golden opportunity for the global capitalist devil to con people into thinking they need things they dont

if i weren't busy boxing day, the decoration would be down. i ****ing hate decorations after christmas. worse when u go bk to work in january and ****ing lights and decorations are everywhere.
at least take them down before new year. christmas is at the end of the year, not at the beginning

Well my kids are still young so I have to say its enjoyable just now but I do think that it is far too commercial. When it comes to boxing day I cannot understand why people who have almost every other day of the year to do it choose to go shopping. I get that there are certain professions who have to work but theres just no need for the shops to be open.
