Celebration has been past for me with family.

i have just done my xmas shopping (1 hour) i always put it off till the last possible minute and i have come to the conclusion i absolutely hate christmas with a passion


i like to see the kids open prezzies but after that i hate everything about it including families and being nice its all too false for me


does anyone feel the same or am i just a miserable old git i have 8 people coming round for dinner tommorow i am tempted just too sit in the shed on my own

I love it ...i'm 44 and still enjoy opening my presents on Christmas Day i only have to visit my mum and dad....and i won't be doing that forever sooooooo make the most of it....there's enough doom and gloom about at the mo....just enjoy it.

well there sure are some miserible old gits out there cmon guys forget that shopping shit especially the part where the missus drags u around every bloody shop in the town....its about meeting old friends in the pub u havent seen since last year, the happiness it brings for the kids, the wife dressed as mrs claus goin to bed xmas eve oops forget i said that, and also the 16 days ive off for the hols !!! whooo hooo

Yes I like Christmas ok,but I do the same things every Christmas.
Go to the Sister in Laws for dinner and drinks,then play pool up to about 3 am. and then go home.
Will do the same next year again.

xmas is great ,best time of year my youngest is 7 and seeing his face xmas morning makes my day , wife was throwing up all xmas day with a virus but me and my son played all day
