Xmas is soooo comercial these days it is not very enjoyable, even worse are the days afterwards when everyone feels that must take them off and visit the high street.

New Years eve is even worse all this "happy New Year" sh&t it is just another day and the same old same old will happen.

Yes, I like Xmas, but probably for the wrong reasons
1. Time off work !!
2. another reason to get all the family together, apart from weddings and funerals.
3. An excuse (as if I need it !!) to overindulge. Alcohol is only for medicinal reasons ? I hate the taste, but hell, it`s your health you`r talking about !!!!!
4. An excuse for a few lie ins AM ( probably as a result of 3. )

yes i love this time of the year

i have just done my xmas shopping (1 hour) i always put it off till the last possible minute and i have come to the conclusion i absolutely hate christmas with a passion


i like to see the kids open prezzies but after that i hate everything about it including families and being nice its all too false for me


does anyone feel the same or am i just a miserable old git i have 8 people coming round for dinner tommorow i am tempted just too sit in the shed on my own
