Hello everyone some help/advice is required if you don't mind. I am looking on getting into cardsharing for the start of the footie seson and i am thinking of starting off with a dreambox 500s and a decent size motorised dish. I'm completely new to all this but have been doing some research over the last week. I am living in birmingham and would gladly pay someone to install for me if anyone out there is willing to do so unless it is reccomended i do it myself thanks everyone and any reply's will be very much appreciated.

The hardest part is getting your pole mount plumb. T&K brackets are easier to install vertical, and if your installing a big steel dish, you should definitely use them. You should have a crack yourself. Worst case scenario: you'll have a few holes in the wall to fill in. -
An 80cm is probably your best option if you need to keep costs down. They're cheap, and they pick up most of the stuff worth having up there. For your motor, I'd recommend a DarkMotor. They're fast and have metal gears, which should aid longevity. They can be slightly noisier than non-metal gear motors though.
You could buy a standard 'L' shaped wall bracket. A bit harder to install vertical and not as safe as T&Ks but cheaper. I had an 80cm motorised up for years on an L bracket and it withstood some pretty heavy winds. The best LNB out there is an Inverto Black Ultra. They cost around ?11. Then you need your F plugs and coaxial cable (get wf100 or ct100).
You can buy the whole package on eBay, just search for motorised satellite package.Comment
