camera messed up so lack of good pics
main points are
1: it was brill.
2: we paid ?35.80 for a family ticket... BUT if you say its for gift aid, you get a free return within a year.
3: Parking is ?2

basically, its like going back in time, you can have a lesson in a 'old school' school, go on an olden days fairground (pay,extra).
buy fish and chips cooked in dripping, eat them at the pub with a pint
go down a mine and see how they were worked.
its a cracking day out


old school lesson. the teacher singled out the mrs and a few other women who had nail varnish on, got them up the front of the class and called them jezebels

deffo mik, as i say, with gift aid, you basically get 2 visits for the price of one.
everyone in olden days get ups.. really interesting.
all the buildings are as they were when they was built, ie demolished and rebuilt brick by brick. one of the guides told me that this one building we were in was originally built at a cost of ?2000 in 1921, to demolish and rebuild in 2004 when they did it... ?1.4 million

Was doing some stalking eariler on and found this thread.

As it's soon the summer vactions, though would be good to bump.

Was *HOPING* to go back to NeverNeverLand to see Obdmaster, but think that might have to be next year.
