There are plenty of women truck drivers. You have to look hard though, as they do tend to look like blokes.

Traditionally, women have cooked the meals and men have brought home the bacon (although this is a family model that's not so prevalent these days - thanks feminists). So why are men better chefs? :-D

Have any of you heard of Sarah Moore?
Moore may still be one year short of gaining her road licence but she is rapidly carving out a reputation for herself as a driver to watch.
The Harrogate-born youngster won the Ginetta Junior Championship title last year at the age of 15 ? the first female winner of a mixed-sex national championship in the UK

?It?s everyone?s dream, from karting all the way through motorsport, it?s what everyone is aiming for,? Moore tells Telegraph Sport. ?For the next three years my plans are based around sports cars I think. But after that my options are open.
?I have plenty of karting experience. My Dad owns his own airfield so I started karting at the age of four. From four until I was old enough to do Ginetta, I kept going up the different stages of karting.
?I have also done a bit of testing in a Formula Ford. It?s a different driving style, single-seaters, but I did really enjoy it. If I was offered something down that route then it would be one I would like to go down. And to be the first girl to make it in Formula One would be the most amazing thing you could do.
?I follow it like everyone does. I watched Jenson Button win it last year, I think he drove really, really well. Just seeing the speeds they go around that track, it just amazes me. I wish I could be in that seat driving around the track with them one day.
?When we went to the Autosport awards I got to speak with Jenson and he told me that his Dad watches everything I do. To hear that from him, after he had just won the championship, you don?t expect people like that to be watching you??
Moore, who will balance her homework with defending her title in a Ginetta G40 this season, knows that if she is going to make it all the way to the top she will need backing, and to get that she will have to capitalise on her unique selling point.
?I think as a girl in a man?s sport you get noticed a lot more sponsor-wise,? she readily admits. ?A lot more people tend to come up to you if you?re doing well. A lot more people want to sponsor you. So it?s useful in that respect.
?But in other respects, for instance fitness, I think the girls have to work twice as hard because the boys are generally fitter.?
Despite its macho image, Moore is adamant she and her fellow female competitors are not treated any differently at race meets, although she admits some of the boys can get a bit funny when she leaves them choking on her exhaust fumes.
?It winds them up so much," she laughs. "In any sport boys don?t like girls beating them, do they??
She says it with a relish that makes you think she may have a future winding up the likes of Button and Schumacher.
Although if she does make it she may have to re-think her attitude to partying. Asked whether she would enjoy the more glamorous side to F1, the champagne and the yachts, she thinks for a moment.
?I would enjoy it, although I think if you go to too many parties it can get a bit boring. I don?t fancy going out every night and having a lot to drink ? I?m not that sort of person. I would rather stay at home and read a book about Lewis Hamilton.?
A role model for these professional times.

The problem women have with Formula 1 is coping with the high G-forces in the corners. Us men have more muscle mass to help hold our heads up, .

            Just for fun...

I reckon it's because they have to find their way back to where they started. Maybe there have been a few started but none finished.

Judging by their results in the past its not surprising.

I think it's better for woman not doing it (participate as driver in formula one)....just do better at home for husband and family...
