    taking photos

my 6 yr old step daughter is staying with us for a week. as she stays in england we dont see much of her so like to take her out and spoil her when she is here. one of the places we went to yesterday was a place called the big adventure - its in linwood near paisley. she loved it. her dad was taking some pics of her as we are making an album of her holiday with daddy and i. however a member of staff came over and said we were not allowed to take any pictures.

i was fuming - what a load of bloody bollox. pc gone bloody mad.

Yeah sadly thats the case now at most kids play areas now. Big Adventure rocks though my son loved playing there when he was younger. He's now nearly 10 and says he is too old for there. However I'm sure given half the chance he'd go again.

I don't think they can stop you taking pics unless someone complains. If you watch any of the cops on camera programs if any of the torags complain about being filmed the coppers tell them the camera crew are well within there rights to film anybody in a public place. I live on the dark side of the border nowadays and they tried to stop parents filming and taking pics at school plays and the likes but were told in no uncertain terms to sling their hook, we can now take pics of whatever we like and if parents don't like it they have been advised to not have their kids participate, and that is the way it should be, I do agree with no pics being allowed when kids are running about in a swimming pool situation

Obviously the rule is in place to stop other peoples kids being photographed without permission, but in reality, no one wants the random creepy kids in the background of photos of your own children anyway.

It?s really nice to sit down with my grandchildren and look back at pictures of their parents as children.
These children today will have nothing to look back on of them playing any ware in public places because of bureaucrats.
                  How very sad.

In reality they can't stop you taking photos of your own kids. Paranoia has set in in this country. Some schools even quote data protection to stop you taking pics of your kids in school plays.

What a crock of shit that is, it's solely for the schools to make money and charge you for "official photos" If anyone tried to stop me taking pics of my grandkids i would ~~~~ them right off.

                    THE TRUTH
                    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
