Best/cheapest way to book a holiday?

looking to go away a long weekend for my 21st in January, i've never been abroad so don't know best way to go about booking it.

Is it cheapest if you look about online?, get the flights and hotels individually? or get a package deal from the travel agents at the last minute?

Hoping to go to Paris, so any suggestions or help would be appreciated

thanks, I have had a look online but there is so much to choose from/ so many different options, I could look for days but I don't have the time right now and usually end up bored.
It's putting me off wanting to go, surely picking a holiday isn't as hard as this? Am I going the wrong way about it, looking too much into it?

going with just my partner, I would like to go to disneyland for the day, but mainly just want a hotel with a view of eiffel tower and flights from glasgow or edinburgh (or even glasgow-prestwick if thats even possible) so not exactly being too specific but not leaving it totally open.

Lainie, i'd love to go on a beach holiday, but I burn in Scotland, how thats even possible? :/ haha.

                Thanks for the help x

Siesta Coach Holidays - Club-Class Coaches

coach holidays are quite cheap, these go to disneyland from glasgow and edinburgh, the booking things not working atm, but you can ring them
