            Try downgrading ff and/or ie8

I had it in ff when flashing a dm800

wouldn't imagine your new hd would cause a problem.
i have tried rolling back my firefox and ie, even though i was using ie9 when i made my last upload.
all that's changed with my pc since then was a fresh install of win7

                      also try this
Maybe a problem with the MRU keys in the Windows registry.
You can try to delete the MRU (Most Recently Used) ComDlg32 registry keys with the regedit.exe program.
                      Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32
Delete the subkeys (LastVisitedMRU and OpenSaveMRU).
Be careful with editing the registry as there is no Undo possible: all changes are applied immediately.
You can export key(s) before making changes.

thanks to the mighty google. all bow down before him
