    Kindle where to buy from? ++?

    Where is the best place and best deal for these ,it's a present and what can I do with this?.
    Can you you mod,hackk,flassh these ..info please guys...best place and price first. Cheers Micky x

    I may be wrong but I think you can only buy them from Amazon, and that is where I bought mine from ?111.

    Go for the wireless only one as you wont use the 3g much in my opinion. There are plenty of books on the net in various formats, which can easily be converted to the MOBI format for the Kindle.


    ps I love my Kindle

      you can get them from currys and so on. the 3g ones are crap iho. use this to convert and manage all your books calibre - E-book management. you can d/l ebooks via most torrent sites or newsgroups. well worth the money

        Hi maca do you mean if I have an ebook I can put it on? and not have to keep buying them,so you can put any ebook on these? Cheers Micky

          yea m8 ~~~~ buying them .. as for the 3g think thats just so you can get on the net when your out and about in black and white mind. plus the 3g coverage aint up to much but thats just my opnion m8..plus dk has its own ebook section

            Yeh cheers maca I'm fine with what I need etc or:ebooks but do you not need to do anything ?! You just put on what ebooks you already have? If so they seem pretty good

            Is that the going rate then ?111 seen some on the fleabay,what about warranty is that an easy side of things if bought second hand/from elsewhere ? Cheers

                you can put whatever books you already have on them. i got 1 from currys ?111 plus ?28 cover for the screen on them as they are very brittle in other words if you break or crack the screen you get a replacement there and then. you can get screen protectors on ebay for a few quid ..

                    there is a kindle 4 coming out in october i believe, which is colour and touch screen, so don't know if you would prefer to wait for that?
