my point was only life is not pointless without kids

In an ideal world, i'd have lived my life before having kids i.e college, maybe get married, learn how to drive. But sometimes life has plans of it's own.

I have thought about being a surrogate, as I'd love to give someone the gift of a child. But saying yes to one couple, is saying no to ten/twenty/thirty others, and I don't have the heart to do that

i hope you are ok 'the man'.

what i will say is everybodys life is precious, everybodys life is different, everybody has problems....some worse than others but we see our own problems as always the worst. That's how selfish we are.

but the bottom line is......take a look around the world all the unfortunate people...we can't compare the feeling no matter how low we are.....i bet they'd give everything to be in one of our bad sittuation.

remember!!! if everything was supposed to be perfect......you would not be on earth BUT IN HEAVEN having the ice cream .

start to look out for yourself 'the man' you'll feel better :-)

Unfortunately you are not in a position to know that.

Depression isn't a choice, it's a condition brought about by a chemical imbalance in the brain. It has it's source in stress & substance abuse. You won't know about it until a doctor or someone who's been there tells you.

Self harming & suicide (when not successful) can be more a call for help, but depression is usually there in the background.

I know a few people on DK have been through depression. I'm sure they will all say the same. We didn't want to suffer from depression, but we have, and we now know what it looks like. We know how to avoid it.

If you don't know the signs, how can you avoid it?

I hope you never find out what depression is like. But to say you will never suffer from it is about the same as saying you will win the euromillions jackpot.

Whats done is done ,whats gonna happen might never happen. Its all about the now .What happened in the past cant be changed so dont worry about it learn from it.Plan for the future but dont let it ruin the enjoyment of now.Now is happening now not yesterday and not tomorrow...I might put that as might facebook status as well
