need advice from any member fridge engineers plz

Hi all,

I have a hotpoint FFA40X fridge freezer from Hotpoint. it used to give the bleeping noise with flashing lights every now and then when we left the door open overnight by mistake..

recently it happened again, as usual we switched it off for a while and back on again but it didnt fix. I asked my girl friend to empty it out and let it defrost for few days. left it off two days and now when we plug it in, the thing doesnt even show power...

any advice will be helpful guys..

Change the fuse

Check the wall socket is still working try something else other than the fridge in the socket

If not and you're out of warranty with where you bought it check out the sales of goods act sure I've heard white goods are covered by a few extra years by eu law
