              Black Pudding.

Love the Scottish black pudding which as said above doesn't include fatty white bits!! I get my relatives to bring me Scotch tatty (potato) scones, irn bru, square sausage, black pudding and white small square loaves when they visit me in Devon. Definetely totally different from the alternate versions in England. Worth sampling if you visit Scotland!!

agreed nara the stuff with white bits in it- i would never touch it. Never realised there was an irish version.

Jason we have a company in scotland called halls and they make nice black pudding and square sausage, they sell to tesco so look out for it in there.

nothing wrong with that mate its full of protein and goodness, in fact loads of folk who work in the meat markets have a cup of piping hot pigs blood in the morning. Black pudding is good for you and gordon ramsay done a feature on it on his f word show saying so.

Nah. Prefer the white but some have far to much grain in them.

                            Knife and fork at breakfast.

Fingers if eating a black pudding supper from the chippy.

                            Dead easy.

Love it myself. Used to have a slight problem when I was but a lad, if I thought about what it was made of

Now, if a full english doesn't have at least 2 pieces of black pudding I'll be complaining.

Agree with Nara Scottish Black Pudding is lovely but the English one has too many lumps of fat/grizzle. Hall's Black Pudding is alright but the small butchers tend to make nicer versions. A Black Pudding Supper with the black pudding in batter YUM!!!
