Why isin't there more chioce for cable broadband customers??

im sick of there only being one major service provider for cable customers. Does anyone know if there are any more available other vm?

There are a few smaller independant providers still kicking around but they only feed small areas.

It would be good if Virgin were forced to open their cable network and allow other providers to use their bandwidth, but ~~~~ knows how that would work or wether it would even be possible.

well bt manage to do it with their phone lines. theoretically i suppose it could work. saying that if vm could open up their lines to other providers, and were choosing not to, would that come under the anti competition laws?

i have always wondered why vm have never complained about bt's monopoly on the phone line network??
