who owns the sky?

about three years ago me and Garry bought a friend a star off the internet in memory of her brother, a few weeks after he died (what would have been his birthday)

it cost about 75 pounds in total and the map with the star on it and where it was came in a gorgeous frame with books/cds/ and dvds all about stars, horoscopes, solar system etc.

But who actually 'owns' the stars to be giving them away? don't stars eventually fade out anyway? Or do you need like a liscence to sell stars

I wonder exactly how many people own that star as well as you?.How can you tell?. Sorry for being a bit bleak.I have a bottle of air that a famous person once breathed in and out. You can buy it cheap if you want.

I deffo don't feel i was done out of money, it's the thought and meaning that was behind the gift and it was beautifully presented.

What about the moon though? Cause im pretty sure ive seen plots of the moon online for sale too.

I had a crap about 3pm today.. Id be happy to sell sections of it. Cost lets say ?2.50?? You will receive one section of luxary toilet paper and a cutout from the daily mail.. If demand is high and further turdes are needed any subsequent pieces may contain sweetcorn.

as I said, I got more than enough to show for my money to make up for the fact the star was blatently free, each to their own and all that.
