hi, yes you can scramble the tracker and the devices are widely available on auction sites and the trackers can be hidden literally anywhere

Block it and you will just raise more suspicion.

I ran an alarm company with 3 vans on the road and thought about fitting trackers purely for ease of allocating jobs for customers to save time. In the end I never bothered as it was easy enough to phone where they were meant to be. If I had a tracker fitted and it suddenly stopped working the first thing I would do would be to drive past where it should be outside of working hours and check or get the driver to fill in a mileage chart. Most bosses have came up the ladder and know all the tricks so it would be dangerous thinking you have one over them in todays market. Get sacked for theft of fuel etc you'll never get another job based on trust. Better to hire a van for the weekend and bump your prices up.

mine is fitted behind the steering column, you can buy a scrambler that plugs into the cig lighter for 25 notes but it cuts out any device within 50 mtrs, mobile, satnav etc

If you're paying benefit in kind through you're taxes for it,then you probably have it for personal use. At least in Ireland you do.

I think he is referring to security for the vehicle
if there are a fleet of vans then it would reduce the cost of the insurance if all are fitted with trackers

for insurance reasons, we had a ?25k freezer van nicked so we decided to get trackers on all the vans
