it is boring being out of or off work when you're ill.

And it's even worse when you get nothing productive done at all, it's no wonder being off work for something like a bad back for weeks on end turns to depression.

Being at work you have a sense of value to your life but at home doing nothing day in day out, it does get to you.

Fingers crossed your better tomorrow...and stay away from daytime tv! Watch films or do something else

im just back at work after 8 weeks off. never been off that long in my entire life. i was bored after 4 weeks off and i too dont understand how people dont want to work and live off benefits. i dont know how the hell they can spend all day and night on the internet - i personally find that sad but as i was once told always be suspicious of people with no friends (real life not internet as they are not proper friends) as there is a reason they have no friends and my god that is soo true.

hope you feel better soon grumbles and nicole glad your mrs is on the mend.

Cheers lainie, ive done a bit of ironing for the good woman but she will probably do it properly later on!I suppose ive been lucky in a way as ive never been out of work, but having said that when the work wasnt here at home i buggered off abroad and found it,i certainly couldnt sit around at home all day(unless i had enough money to allow)I was once told `watch and beware of the ones that dont swing their arms when they walk. Just you watch out for them! cheers,...

Get well soon jc and my best wishes to your missus nicole.
I have gone to work, on occasions, sick and have told my boss on more than one occasion that if he don't see me in the morning, don't ring my home but ring the hospital or morgue.

It took me two hours to iron 4 pairs of mrs grumbles trousers and 6 of her tops,i think the tramadol kicked in because i never realised at first that jane had taken off the spongy thing under the cover to get a new one and i ironed thosands of little circles into her clothes,so i gave up and went to stare out of the window.....im doing the same thing now, what a miserable bloody day here in sunny south shields.Right, another cup of tea then im going to stare out of the window again!
