i wouldnt panic buy as the indusrty hold`s a lot of fuel back depending on where you stay it should be ok for a while as we are shut down it takes a while to start back up you cant just throw a switch and it goes on it would take over 3 weeks to get back up and running again

I only have 4 stations in my area, its the other people though that cause it by panicking and full there tanks and then once fuel stations have shortages the prices will rise, i'll wait the now though and see how my local garage is by later tonight, thanks for the info once again ted.

i have contracts delivering newspapers to newsagents and i've been told as it's "media" we're a protected business and if we require filling up we can request a police escort to the filling stations.....anyone heard of this?

ok guys update from me this is an actual part from an email sent to us

"A meeting was held in London today between Jim Ratcliffe and Tom Crotty of Ineos and the Joint General Secretaries of Unite, Derek Simpson and Tony Woodley.
"It was a constructive and meaningful discussion and ended in a proposal that will be considered by the company and the union in the coming days with a view to finding a resolution to the pension?s dispute."

It is hoped the proposal will lead to a solution to this dispute.
