My Bloody Valentine - NOT IN 3D

I took my wife to the local Showcase cinema last night to see 'My Bloody Valentine' in 3D, as I was about to pay for the tickets I overheard the customer infront of me talking to the ticket sales person who had just told her that the movie was not being shown in 3D!

The news spread through the huge queue like wildfire and most people turned and walked back out the door, after confirming with the sales team that the movie was indeed not going to be shown in 3D I also left the building

Before I left the house I checked on the Showcase cinema website and it did not say anything about the film not being shown in 3D as advertised.

The cinema in question was the Showcase just off the M8 in Coatbridge/Bargeddie.

Thats crap that m8. Has anyone else had this problem. Has anyone seen this in 3D What was it like

Ive heard some cinemas dont do the 3D thing but there are some that do.

It's a remake of an old movie. 1970's i think. But it's done in 3D

I remember watching nightmare on elm st 6 in 3d. twas severely shite. and i don't just mean the film.
you know what else is rubbish in 3d?

Hi Guys,
A lot of cinemas are not capable of showing 3D films they need to have a special DCP projectors which I belive only IMAX cinemas have, so its unlikely if you do not live anywhere near a IMAX theater you will be seeing this film in true 3D.

Just been talkin to my m8. He went to watch it last night and said the effects were brilliant. As good as the 3D cinemas in the states he reckons.Think i will go and see this, this week.
