If I remember right, his mate bought a torch/stun gun, while on holiday, and got busted with it, and prosecuted, he was asking what the likely outcome would be.

Yeah thats it sorry i edited the post i was ment to re type a few things but deleted the whole post insted and then forget to refill it out. Yeah my mate got caught with a torch stun gun brought from abroad and it had no battrey power so it was not charged or used and the majestrates court said its a non leathel weapon and gave a ?100 fine and they destroyed the device.

Exactly what i thought and it was a waste of time, if the cps done there job properly or even the police then everyones time and money would have got saved also his car got inpounded and he ha to pay ?190 release fee before he got charged that was because it was found in the car. It was a waste of money and time. To be honest he should have just got a caution at the police station when he answered bail but the cps wanted it to go to court and then when it did go to court in the cps description it stated it was a non leatheal weapon oh well glad its all over

Mny many years ago somebloke had a moped thing - basically an engine assisted bycyle - he just brought it new from shop - large hill - he pedaled down - got ticket no tax.

If he had took chain off - no problem
