Yes it is isn’t it? As most of you know Dk is a bit different from some other forums becuase of it’s very friendly and helpful attitude.
We have had a lot of new members over the last few months and I thought that it might be an idea to remind members of our policy.
It is expected that all members are pleasant and courteous to each other but i would ask you all to make an effort for newbies. Some of the members joining up have never been on a forum before. They don’t know the terminology, abbreviations etc and they don’t know how to navigate round the site or make posts. You end up with intro posts in the wrong sections and people in the shoutbox asking how to download when they haven’t even done their first post!
Yes I know, once you’ve seen it a million times you start to get a little bit tired but remember, to each new member it’s their first time!
So I’d like to ask you all to be patient. If newbies ask for help in the shoutbox, try and direct them to the correct section bye pasting in a link, or talk to them and give them advice. If they haven’t made their first post then point them in the direction of introductions or paste the link to this stickie.http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ul-tips-12092/
If you see a post where someone is being insulted or “flamed”, spamming, or anything you think is wrong, please report it!
Thank you to all the members who welcome newbies in the introduction section. It means a lot to the newbies that someone has taken the time to say hello to them. I know cause I remember!!

A big thank you to everyone who helps out on Dk whether dealing with technical or general issues. It’s you guys who make the forum so good!
