    Tossers, probably "young opportunist thieves".
    Or smack heads...?
The government should give them daily fixes free, get rid of the ~~~~ers let them have all the shite they need

Get down the local boozers and offer a reward. You'll have names quicker than you know as there's no loyalty amongst scum. Sad though it is you may have to buy some of your own stuff back.

A locksmith mate of mine did a lock change for a guy from Dunbarton who had the same thing happen to him. This guy was loaded and connected. He offered a ?500 reward for the guys name then paid another ?500 to get the goods back. Lets just say the scum never got off Scot free.

Sorry for your troubles panto and can only imagine the rage built up inside you from having your home violated.
Be careful of that rage and anger and as Grizz said that ,thankfully, none of you were injured.

never leave the key in or near the door. EXACTLY the same way I was burgled. Can only hope u have insurance to cover a costly lesson. Also get another lock or latch for door.
tbh my insurance pay out made the whole affair like winning the lottery! But thats not to say i want to go through it again!! chin up.
Why Does Stuff Cost So Much ? And GET OFF MY LAWN.

managed to buy another touchpad on ebay for ?230
                  bought last night
                  delivered this afternoon
that was a really quick seller
ok I could have done without the expense but at least I actually managed to get one for her.
I'll give her it at christmas after she opens her presents.
that will really make her day
managed to source a case for it from HP too. only ?10 including postage.
hope that arrives before christmas too.
                  cheers folks

someone I didn't know stopped me in the street this morning
he said "sorry to hear your house was burgled"
                    "hole in backdoor? right?"
                    he said a name
                    and then walked away

                    a little background here
I've been a scout leader here for 12 years so literally hundreds of people know me by name when I have only perhaps met them once or possibly never ever having talked to them.

                    anyway
is there any point in passing on this name to the police?
the guy named may be totally innocent and I can't even tell the police wh0 I got the name from as I honestly don't know.

I'd pass the name to them. They'll know themselves if they have form or not .

sorry to hear about the vile scum who robbed you. i hope they get what's coming to them.

just a thought, i know ppl who say that thieves are using facebook also to sell stolen goods.
might be worth a look, and ask anyone you know locally to look there as well.

leaveing the key in the door is common practice incase of fire and having to find it in the smoke, there just scummy horible ~~~~ers that need shooting!!
