first you need a client like utorrent ( google you will find it easy, ) then look for torrent sites, 2 of the best are btjunkie and kickasstorrents, go onto the sites look for films etc, download torrent, put it into utorrent client and away you go, try to pick the film etc that has the most seeds it will download faster, theres also nzbs but thats for the more "advanced" downloader. ( torrents are free if you use file hosting sites like megaupload etc and are a free user it will take you longer this way )

Google uTorrent, download and install it,
once installed, open, and click on help (top left),
        click on uTorrent FAQ,
at the bottom of page under help, click on videos & guides,
and watch the beginners guide to bit torrent,
that should give you the basics, it's not difficult.

i prefer using jdownloader then finding website which hosts films with download links to either fileserve or filesonic
you will need a account with them but i think its fast than utorrent

depends on which torrent search engines you use, I use mainly private ones,
also depends on what broadband speed you have, I have 50mb, and can download a 1gb file in less than 5 mins

The file will download to your documents, to the folder that you set. Usually "Downloads"

Right click on the torrent in your bittorrent client and select "open containing folder"

best bet is to install VLC and play movie through that.
just a thought, what format is the download, if it's a rar file you need to extract it first with winrar.
when you right click on file do you get the option, open containing folder, if so that's the easiest way to find file.
