Raging toothache

Thanks to everyone who replied...

I've survived the day with a mixture of anti-inflammatory and painkillers.
Hasn't been as painful today as it was last night.
I'll see if its any better tomorrow but if not I've found an emergency dentist to go to.

Like others have said pal clove oil works wonders, that and painkillers.

Clove oil or just get a clove and put it between teeth where it hurts, also get your toothbrush put some salt on it and brush painful area. Maybe wierd but works for me.

As a coincidence Ive had toothache for a few days and above has worked for me and pain aint half as bad now.

Get someone to kick you in the Bollo# really hard !! Then your balls will hurt so much you will forget all about your toothache....

get something called liquid anbesol in the chemist, it's antiseptic anaesthetic and you rub it into your gum. don't get the cream, the liquid is much stronger. hope you are feeling better

Got Anbesol, had it for a while.
I'm not a fan of it to be honest, I find it makes it worse for me.

Anyway,no pain up to now this morning.

it should be in most chemists johnner, and also available online. i think its great, much better than bonjela or anything else i've tried

Not quite. I was drinking that drain cleaner Stella last night...cheap pish but I'm saving the good beer till the pain has gone.

you might have an abscess under the tooth aleister, is there any swelling around your jawline? if you do and thats causing the pain, the anbesol isn't really going to help a lot, you will need to get antibiotics off your dentist or doctor

I think it's a gum infection.
I seem to get it at the back where wisdom teeth come through.Had it before and the pain is as bad as toothache. Its near a crown though so it may be the tooth or just my gum.

Taking amoxicillin at the moment to see if it goes down.
