Best thing about 2011?

What was the best thing to happen throughout 2011 for you?

mine would have to be moving house, town and county. Giving my son a better start in life and just having a complete turn around to the lifestyle we were living in before he was born i.e making and eating fresh home cooked meals, a house with a garden in a lovely new area, just in general a new lease on life and relationships.

For me, 2011 was a good year, I have my health and I'm at a place in my life where im quite happy to be

(personally its not my favourite time of year and i dont quite 'get' new years as a celebration )

had an average year this year , nothing to boast about.
went without a holiday due to being skint after paying towards daughter and son in laws wedding the previous year.

a few good points that keep me going

UTD won another Premiership
I got to see another year with my family, and see them all working and doing well.
Me and the wife both still working ( and this day and age you got to be thankful ).
Live in a nice house , in a nice area with great neighbours.

Next year having a week in Portugal with the wife and granddaughter.
and in September i hope to either go to Mexico for 2 weeks or have a Mediteranian Cruise round some of the places i have not seen.

No really, It's just good to be here, to have, like Aftermath, a year when work for my son and myself has continued, to have met his new girlfriend and had a good Christmas.

looking back at 2011 it was quite a good year for me. i'm in a lot better of a place than i was this time last year.

i've had some new business ideas that hopefully will take off, i have my kids, my house and my health, i changed my car to one i really like, made some great new friends, as well as getting out and meeting old friends more, and of course i got Marty

so all in all, things going well, and 2012 looks like it will be interesting and exciting

Watching my daughter develop. She now running riot so all I can say really is all the best for 2012 and have a safe but enjoyable new year
