someone i know hit a cow. it was a pitch black night in the countryside and a black cow standing in the road. he hit the cow's head - the whole front passenger side of the car was demolished, windscreen, door etc

the cow was fine, but the farmer wasn't when he had to pay for the car repairs

lucky he wasnt in india as the cow is holy in india and if you hit one you are in a lot of trouble !!
