I was 12 and just got into the Roker end with my bro. when this happened...........
FA Cup replay v Man Utd 1964. The official attendance for the match was, I think, 45,000, but it is estimated that there was at least 75,000 in Roker Park that night and 100,000 in and around RP. Crowd pressure from the outside saw the big exit gates at the Roker End collapse and 3 people were caught underneath and trampled to death as the crowd surged in.Comment

The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment
