They are stupid. Yes Megaupload has lots of illegal files but they themselves do not upload them, that's the fault of the uploaders.
In the real world if I bought a kitchen knife from Asda and stabbed lots of people would Asda get prosecuted for selling me the knife, I think not, would they also be closed because they are responsible for facilitating me buying the knife, again no, nor would they be told to take all knives off the shelves so it doesn't happen again.
Just because a site facilitates the uploading/downloading of files/NZB's/torrent's shouldn't mean that they are responsible for the content of those files/NZB's/torrent's.
But of course we don't live in an ideal world and money rules, so the MPAA, RIAA or what ever the ~~~~ they wanna be called will get their way and more sites will be shut down.
