    Memory foam or Latex mattress?

Looking to buy a new bed & desent springless mattress.
Found a good strong kingsize metal bed frame, not too sure what type of mattress would be best.
Dont want any springs but need it to be FIRM.
Been looking at memory foam & Latex mattresses.
Anyone on here got any of the above, any good/bad advise/suggestions.

    Thanks

I went for a pocket sprung mattress that instead of the usual padding it has a 3" memory foam top layer, its fantastic, cost 250 quid. Have also got memory foam pillows which are excellent too..

We had a 2000 pocket sprung mattress, cost a fortune, with a 3" memory foam top. Then got a 12" high density foam mattress with an integrated 3" memory foam topper.

I have to say the full foam mattress is much comfier and I get a better night sleep on it than the pocket sprung.

I will say though it's hell in warm weather and the foam retains and bounces back all the heat, you wake up stuck to it.

Also full foam mattresses are not likely to have bed bugs or dust mites as they cant live in the dense foam, they like to live in creases of material and the wadding.

I have a memory foam/sprung matress its basically your a normal spring matress with the top 6 inches being of memory foam. Best of both worlds and very very comfortable indeed and yes it was bloody expensive

These are delivered ROLLED UP, does this not damage the mattress, as it may have be sitting in storage for a long time?
Did you guys get you rolled up or already expanded?
and what THICKNESS is good as ive seen 8 to12 inch.

Yes memory foam for me but very very warm when you first use them, but your body does get used to it.

if you had to bring a mattress up a narrow winding stairs it would nearly kill you,a rolled up mattress is a lot easier to get to the top of where you want it,do these type only come on order so they are not kept wrapped but sent from factory direct.

Memory foam is made of polyurethane (PU) foam, latex is a natural if it?s pure, both are confortable but it depends a lot if they are cuted out of blocks or moulded in special moulds, the ones cuted out of blocks are cheeper (the cos of the row material is around 2,5***8364;/Kg).

we have a memory foam, though if, like i was when i was pregnant, you're a heavy bassad, you'll find that instead of it supporting you, you'll just put a big dent in it comfy as ~~~~ otherwise though
