    Australian visas

    Hey ppl, toying with the idea of pisshing off to Oz, as I'm so ~~~~ed up with this Irish government. I was looking up visa's and it seems if you past 30 your fairly ~~~~ed. Does anyone know of an easier way to acquire a visa for a 40 year old. Suppose being sponsored is the only way. Any ideas or thoughts welcome, any under handed ideas... please pm

      My nephew emigrated over there a couple of years ago, my sister(his mother) wanted to move over there as well to be near to her grandkids, but was refused a visa because of her age, only way she could get one was if she had ?30k in the bank, to cover medical and social costs etc, if needed, she had that much in equity in her house but wouldn't have been able to buy anything else when she got over there.

          theres plenty of work in the northern territory in the mines,its booming over there,so much so that they have had a recruitment drive in ireland to get people over there to work,i know this as a lot of my relatives from ireland are in oz now,also my uncle has just been to visit us from oz,hes been there over 30 years,,he also said its not just skilled labour there after but semi skilled aswell,,so if you got a company to sponsor you or put you straight into a job then you should not have much trouble getting a visa,,one thing to note is that if you have a working visa i think for two years you cant apply for citizenship,,,might be slightly wrong there,anyway check on expats website etc or oz embassy

              Some 1 will have better luck getting visa in UK then Aus.

              Discrimination if you ask me!!!!!!!!!!!

              Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

                      Humans not allowed unless you have money, when animals can travel across the borders without visas for free???

                              it depends on you skill .. what do you do but as a rule up to 45 with a skill 50 if you can secure a job from here
