Personally I think Australia has the right idea in the way that they control who can gain access in to there country. If you dont have something they need they are not interested or if you cant support yourself they are not interested. Well done to them unlike the UK were our door just seems to be left wide open for every scrounger to gain access then have the cheek to complain about our ways etc.

Australia is lovely though was there for a month, if I could I would move there tomorrow.

@ Patkins, unfortunately Pat, the people wont stick together here in Ireland, & as a result the Gov. are just creating tax after tax after tax. So if you did get a half decent job, half your wages are gone on ~~~~ing taxes. So much for encouraging people to go back to work eh....

@ Gary, I agree with you totally on the Aussie visa laws, not so many scumbags getting in, as in England / Ireland's case. And as you say....to whinge about it, is a joke, but we wont go into that. Anyway I still want a visa .

Try to get employer sponsored visa. That's easiest way.
I was trying to get working visa, but couldn't pass language test. Didn't reach half a point in writing test( I'm not native English person). And that's after 3 years of waiting.
