I used to think along similar lines when I was younger.
I had a brother who tried to commit suicide (he had alchol problems) by hanging himself, fortunately I found him in time and saved him. He sorted himself out eventually despite having other problems and going blind, only to die suddenly from a heart attack.
I used to think you have a problem, sort yourself out ! simple.
And for me this appeared to be the solution, until recently when I became seriously depressed (reasons are quite involved) and believe me I dropped to such depths that I felt I could not carry on. The only thing that stopped me was the thought of how my brother's attempted suicide had affected the family and I did not want to affect my family in the same way.
When depression sets in; for whatever reason, it is a hard, hard slog and I still have a long hard slog ahead. Thankfully I have a really supportive wife and family and an excellant understanding GP.
I think this thread has gone a little of track has it not ?

I was commenting on a previous comment and putting my point of view across. That is how discussions go, the title of the thread is just the core of the subject.
Theres a time and a place for these types of companies ie emergency cash paid back quickly. Whats the problem if you need cash you are fully in the picture from the very start. Me if i need spare reddies i ask a mate or family member and they do the same too.
