    Wow How much does that cost!!

    If you want to make a cheap meal Dont and i stress Dont buy monkFish!!

    Asda ?20 a kg!!!
    Tesco ?15 for a tail!!

    Its my wife's favourite Fish!! Now I know why!!! FFS i thought i was going to have a cheap one this year how wrong was I!!

          There is a cheaper option what i do is get some old fish that is cheap like river cobbler bash one out over it hey presto.You now have harry monk fish..............

              monkfish costs around ?9-?11kg for a 1-2kg tail at the moment.

              try stargazer as a cheaper alternative

                    same as anything, when it's in vougue, it's the best thing in the world, 20yrs ago, they used to throw monkfish back, along with dogfish, as no one wanted them.
                    Personally, i'd rather have a nice big mackerel, i just hope the trendy tv chefs don't start singing it's praises, or the price of these will go sky high!
