    Is it:

best place to buy a car is to go to the seller's house, check it out, check them out and if everything is in order pay them with a bank draft at least you know then that they have to cash it and if anything does go bad you know who's got \ cashed the draft

you say you have a paypal account, sold something on ebay for ?100,buyer paid monies into your designated paypal account, received e mail stating funds had cleared and given green light to dispatch item, item dispatched and buyer happy with item and hopefully left positive feedback.

      are we ok to now????

when you tried then to transfer your ammount to a designated bank/society account with clearance via paypal your money had disappeared.

if this is how it played out then you have a genuine reason to feel as you do.in my experience though i think there is a little more to this????

      Are you deaf or blind.

Will do this step by step..

Answer me, suppose you buy a TV from ebay you pay the money via paypal right or wrong. If you answer yes then your money is in paypal hands right.

Who is now going to pay the seller for TV, obviously paypal because they are holding the sellers money.

Now if you are the seller how you would expect to get the TV money from paypal?

gc1966 I will ask you again how would a seller get the TV payment from paypal, please answer me?

i am neither deaf nor blind and also i am not ~~~~in stupid

i have answered the query, you have a paypal account and a designated bank account, you transfer from one to the other, the only time paypal stick their oar in is when a dispute is raised and then they with-hold the transaction until it is resolved.

they do not spirit your money away in the night

We all know they have rights to with-hold transaction if there was a dispute.

No dispute did you read the above thread?

They lied and wrote to me that I was using some one else account to take money from paypal account, despite they have all my account details.

How can any one use another person account to take money from paypal account, ridiculous accusation?

Give a good reason why they lied?

I would like a paypal manager to answer why they use this sort of scam? (Not trusted) and paypal is not a bank, be aware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where in this post did you state that was a problem you have personally experienced?????

            it seemed a general rant..

have you asked a paypal manager to explain it to you cos i would be very interested to hear the outcome

How would you aspect manager to help, when a scam system been used by them.

I wrote to them, I emailed so many times until they stopped replying

Every thing is done over the internet but when it comes for payments they can not find your account to deposit your money, but they have workers to use scam to take your money.

The amount of money was under ?99.00 and they have spent more time looking into rather then giving my money to me.

I am not bothered about the money it?s the principal, if we let them carrying similar scam to others they will carry on and on.

My complaint will now be investigated by the Financial Ombudsman Service this has been backed by our MP who has checked all my paperwork and will let you know the outcome over the coming months.

The reason we should all keep complaining to FOS because paypal should not be given a banking licence.

I will now stop discussing this matter and will let you know the outcome when available.

                    Hmmmm

yep, they will try to get you to pay for something upfront ... the deal sounds too good to be true, so it is most definitely a scam...if ur so inclined, just lead them on ... and waste their time .... but then you are also wasting your own!

SB I use PayPal all the time and I will say this about them.......... I HATE PAYPAL.

Each week I will transfer money over to my bank account from PayPal each time it will be much longer than the 2-3 days that they suggest. It is never any less than 6 working days. It even took 14 days once.

Contact PayPal get nowere with them they have tried to blame my bank, I know it is not my bank as my bank has told me that when PayPal transfer money in to my account it goes in instantly, also I have no other issues with any other payments going in to my account just Paypal. Also I have no issues with my bank what so ever.

They have also said that sometimes it has to go through security checks (what every time??) There has been other excuses also. I was also told it was a free service and basically just to accept it.

Now if you do your homework you find that PayPal makes interest on your money so for them to tell me its a free service and just to accept is pretty funny. The longer PayPal manage to keep your money the more money they make on it.

                      PayPal are a nightmare.
