    Should Elctronic Cigs be banned outside too?

    No way is my answer, yet some people are advocatiing for it. WHY?

        Read on ere the other day some of these blow up in your mouth. One guy in the states had his teeth and a chunk of his tongue blown out using one of these electronic cigs.

          Been reading about that on another forum, seems he had stacked 2 3v lithium ion batteries in a modified e cig, this is not advisable as if one cell is in poor condition it can cause an excessive drain on the good cell and lithium ion batteries can overheat & vent gas or explode/catch fire if shorted, he should have noticed it getting very hot first though. there have also been loads of cases of laptop and mobile phone batteries exploding or catching on fire. If people are worried either use aw imr batteries (these are safe chemistry) or use protected batteries (these are a little longer than the normal batteries as they have a circuit board that limits the drain)
