    Test Question at job interview

You are a mile from your interview location and stuck in a major tailback in a Taxi. Give 3 things you could do in this situation. I wrote 1) Phone ahead and explain situation 2) Get out and walk or run to interview. Does anyone know of a 3rd thing that could be done? This question still keeps me awake.I have no answer.

write a letter explaining that it was the employers fault for arranging an interview and not allowing sufficient time for you to get there.
emphasise that it was because of this ridiculous time that led you to murder the taxi driver before turning whichever weapon you used on yourself.

Get on a race horse you do not need to stop on the traffic lights and just park him on double yellow lines and tell warden to feed the horse while having your interview?..

Huh ? In Dublin we have a bicycle scheme, you rent the bike to get around the city, and drop it back at nearest bike rack.

Cool, you guys have racehorses for hire !!!

I dunno what type of interview it would be? but sometimes they chuck these vague questions in to be difficult

is it even the date/near the time of the interview? the question does not say so.

Would the tailback result in you being late? Could you walk and get there on time?

These type of questions are always thrown at you in such a way to make you think the worst. But unless you haven't told us some part of the question, it doesn't say that you are going to be late as a result of the tailback. So you could just wait in the taxi as the tailback is not going to make you late.
Also normally in these type of questions if the interviewer can make up problems or events then normally so can you. So possibly you were meeting a friend for lunch before the interview as they work near where you were going for the interview, so the delay is only going to make you miss lunch with a friend but you will still be at the interview with time to spare.

Exactly, logical thinking, you could be a week early, so no problem..

The most obvious answer - call Chuck Norris , he will get you there yesterday
