    your cards are not safe in your wallet ?

          They spend millions developing these security systems would they not be better employing the fraudsters instead.

              These new RFID cards really are a bad idea, as they have already been easly violated.

              One Q come to mind.
              These new RFID CC are issued for XX amount of years, so where does the chip get its power source to keep working proper for that long as when using it , it does not make contact with anything?

                  AFAIK the rfid chips use the energy from the radio waves scanning them to send their signal back.

                                      How long before someone fits the reader into the casing of a handheld metal detector used at nightclubs & football grounds?

                                      You could scan thousands of people a week without even the slightest suspicion being raised.

                                                      These probably wont come to the UK as we have chip & pin which the americans didn't want. Chip & pin is much safer.
