    How to save online books

    Hi All is there a way to save an online book to the hard drive enabling one to have access to it while off line , thanks ,regards

    A little confused. If the computer is off-line you can't access anything away from it.

    But if you mean just saving the book to the drive, yes... as long as it's available as either mobo, epub or pdf.
    It might also depend on the site you're using.

    If you want to access a book on your pc while somewhere else, I would suggest uploading them to something like google docs.

      If you mean you have a website that has a book on it's pages but with no download link or option, then yes you can save it by using a program like teleport, which will dump down a website so you can use it offline.

      You can also use the "send to kindle" plugin for firefox to send webpages directly to your kindle (if you have a kindle) the page will be sent over wifi and wont cost anything, but if you set the options to send via 3g then it costs.

      You could also install something like cutePDF which acts like a printer and therefore will let you "print" any webpage as a PDF file for offline reading.

        Thanks for input above , the web site with this online book does not have "save" or "print" buttons however does offer this reading for free - while online . I do most of my reading in the lavolibary and was looking for a way to save and print this article for offline time , thanks , regards
