define 'local' my local pub is a ~~~~ing shithole that needs shutting down.. however in comparison, my dads local pub is great

erm not me,sorry! i dont drink,my only pleasure is smoking,i have to pay ?4.65 duty on 20 cigs,so only fair drinkers pay duty on beer.

if you stop the tax on beer, the government will only take the money from somewhere else such as an increase in income tax or petrol duty. probably both.

never said i dont agree with it,like to see what would happen if a petition was started to stop duty on cigs,nothing,all the non smokers would be up in arms,we need smokers to keep our income tax etc down,i am one person paying approx 5.40 a day on tax duty,just think on the 100 of thousands paying the same or more,no one could afford to work.the reason i commented is its a forum for comments,entitled to my oppinion like averyone else.

because sam some people will make light of anything

i wont sign it as i got bought up by an alcaholic so i think put the prices up to protect weak people from themselves......plus i can get cans of stella cheap as chips

maybe some of us dont want to be raving alcoholics and just go to the pub to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere of the pub or club??
