As johnnyboy says cb tapatalk uses almost no data. I've always got a newish version lying around if you need it and there are some pretty good data monitors out there that work in real time so you can keep a tight reign on your usage. My data monitor is very accurate and free

chelsea get your provider to cap your useage and send you a text message when you get near it. Hopefully you have an andriod or iphone the tapatalk app is around 2 quid or free on a jailbroken iphone.

On the internet front.....

If you know someone nice who has a BT hub & shares their connection with BTFONE (I think).

Provided they give you their logins & there's an available wifi signal for that service near you.... You will have a free wifi connection.

Or you can search for any WEP encrypted wifi, & I'll tell you how to gain access.
