    Annoying calls on my mobile

Keep getting daily calls from 02031671196.

Must ring me 4 times a day. Ive not answered any but done a search and its some crappy claim guys chasing PPI stuff.

Is there a way of me blocking their calls at all?

    Doing my tree in,

just answer it and leave it to one side or i find a referees whistle usually does the trick.

some cell phone companys you can call hq and ask them to block numbers.

you could answer and pretend to be not Inglish

or answer it, then tell them your getting a new number

Android has free blocking software installed or available. I drop the numbers in my address book, mark them as such and never hear them ring again. All good stuff

Cold calling for PPI, Personal Injury claims & anything else regulated by the Ministry of Justice is illegal.

Ask them for their Ministry of Justice reg no. This will start 'CRM' followed by 4 or 5 digits.

Then ask them for their Data Protection license no. This should start with a letter then 6 digits (I think).

You can send an email to report them to the Ministry of Justice.
This will get you nowhere as an individual, but if more people report them they could remove their license.

I'll have to check where to report the DPA license to, but this is a more serious problem for the company. They only get one warning... then they will be facing criminal proceedings.

Yes, it's a pain in the ass having to spend time reporting them. But the more you do it, the more fun it can be.

Just for info... Any forms or leaflets sent out have to show the CRM number. So does their website. Not sure if the DPA license details have to be shown as well. But these can be found through companies house.
Staff should have these details drilled into their heads.

Pretty much. But it's the DPA license that will get them into more trouble.
