Just a little bit of fun.
In this modern age of music, all we are being inundated with is crappy boy/girlbands covering other peoples songs and doing so badly.
And, of course, there's some songs that should NEVER be re-recorded by anyone. Even the original artist. Why on earth would anyone want to tinker with Bohemian Rhapsody?
I know Mr. Shatner recently recorded the song and god knows I love Shatner but it just shouldn't be done.
It brings down the reputation of pefectly decent covers.
But not all covers are bad.
There's plenty of people that may even claim that a cover version can be just as good or perhaps even better than the original.
In this thread, I ask you to post 2 cover versions - 1 brill and 1 crap - in order to highlight how some bands can get it right while others get it so so wrong.
