Eating Cats + Dogs in China

Just watched a clip from China on sky news , where cats and dogs are crammed in cages and sold for meat in Markets .
I own dogs , but personally think the media give too much info these days , have we got the right to stop this trade , when they've eaten it for decades , live on the other side of the World and have a totally different culture to ours.
What do You think ??

Little wonder the Chinese who live in Scotland are a happy lot. It rains cats and dogs almost every day there. They must think it is 'Manna form heaven'.

Think the Chinese should be able to eat what they like (cannibalism excepted). As far as I am aware the dogs they eat are bred to be eaten they are not family pets. Personally dont think i would want to taste it but its personal choice. I eat a fair bit of rabbit and i am sure that would upset some as well.

its no different to us eating cows. i doubt the hindus are too happy about that but what would you tell them if they came complaining?

i did not like what i saw but understand in different countries

Well, we breed cows, sheep, piggies to eat. It just so happens that we like to throw sticks for dogs and not eat em.

Used to eat from a Liverpool takeaway after a lads night out for years , the steak dinners from there were the tastiest i've ever had , and my favourite.
They got busted by the Health Department , who found 12 large dogs hung in the freezer , so i've probablly ate plenty of it and can only say it was superb . Don't think my Missus would agree , or my 2 labradors !!!.
