Lets just say its a hypothetical question
Seriously though; can't you tell them to wait since your employer is out of the country at the moment? It might be even better if you say you're self employed and need to the car to run your business.
Of course you could just type one up. Call your dad and read it out to him so he knows what's going on though. I would also give a photocopy. This way if they say "but you told us your employer was out of the country" you can just say he faxed or emailed it to you.

did they give you a fixed penalty? use this against them. the law states that no fines may be given without a court hearing
Let me explain. The Bill of Rights of 1689 is the law of the land to this day. Clause 12 reads:
... that all grants and promises of fines and forfeitures of particular persons before conviction are illegal and void.
hence any fixed penalty levies on you at the roadside or wherever isn't worth the paper its written on. and as the police acted unlawfully, the whole hearing is a farce.
Khan, you bloodsucker! You're going to have to do your own dirty work now, do you hear me? Do you?

I can't see what rules it would contravene. His lawyer is aware of his circumstances and he has told him to print the letter himself.I'm pretty sure his lawyer would not put his balls on the chopping block by telling his client to do something illegal.

              THE TRUTH
              The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

i think sadiq was referring to his lawyer saying "print one up yourself" indicating that he should say its a letter from his father. that would be fraud.

surely you can ask for an adjournment considering the circumstances.
if you need to present something in court which you cannot present because of circumstances beyond your control an adjournment should be granted.
                    your lawyer should know this.
don't give in to the system, man.

hey guys . sorry this is the first i have been back on . i thought this post was braking rules and would be removed so i didnt bother checkig it again .

thanks for all the replys and help . update from court today

i got a letter stating that the loss of my licence would cause considerable hardship to me and to the company .

had court this morning and its put back for another 4 weeks , my lawyer wants a report of what will happen if i loss my licence etc . i have a house to pay for i have 2 kids andmy partner doesnt work and things like that

the lawyer said its only at the district court so there is a chance the judge may be a bit more considerable in a district court .

i already have 6 points tho and the minimun for the offence is 6 points so i dont know what will happen .

just hope its in m favour ,

                        thanks agin guys

must be a fairly serious case if they may revoke your driving license
