Everyone has a blind spot in each eye. Close one eye, look at a pinpoint light. Look around the room. At some point whil you are looking around the pinpoint light will disappear from your vision.

as always you are well informed, if you go to the opticians you should get a "visual fields" test. This checks that there are no abnormalities. but yes everyone has a blind spot. it's due to the anatomy of the eye and the retina and optic nerve so I was told
