    Who cares?
I mean, really, do we need a God in our lives?
If we need to have someone there when we are afraid and uncertain and when we need guidance and when we are about to die, should it be God??

I do not believe in any religion, does that mean that I am the worst person in the world, I do not love, help, support and care about anyone?

I don't think so. You need a guidance, take one right here.

We came to this world to live. Our obligation is to live our lives in any way we want to. Is there going to be anyone there to judge us when we stop living? Well I don't think so, and even if there is, Is he/she going to tell us anything if we live a life that we enjoyed? A life that we were constantly in peace with ourselves and with the ones surrounding us?

We should be the judge of ourselves. We should learn from our mistakes, and for every mistake there is a punishment. Either right away, or in the depth of time.

Don't let your life get by by trying to figure out if there is God. Try not to have anything left for tomorrow, and always express your feelings to those that matter to you..

You may never reach home from work today, whatever you believe in, even if you've been the kindest person in the world, even if you 've always been a super careful driver etc.

Believe in yourself and live your life in a way that pleases you.

If you like robbing banks or killing people , then I doubt you are reading this, so you all know to whom this post is reffered to..
To the normal, average, man or woman that don't like hurting people on purpose...

Anyway, that's the way I confront life, or at least try to..

      Maybe

Maybe, but certainly not in the sense portrayed by any of the man made religions.

somehow there will be someone outside who is there for us,
but if its god and and how does he look like or does he even exist?

i think u cant say he is not there, but you also cant say he is there, this question must everybody answer for himself.

for example if u survive a car accident unharmed, for those who believe in god it will be gods will and he sent an angel to protect me, others who arent this certain about god or even atheists will say i just got lucky, you see there are many ways you can see a situation..
so there will be no final answer to this question, because every example somebody will find and tell, another person will think the exact opposite of this...

Hmm, atheism isn't really a belief as such (more a lack of one) and it certainly doesn't claim any of the things listed in the image.

Science doesn't yet claim to know how all this came about, but they're working on it and have several theories, doubtless incorrect. But even incorrect theories can serve as useful models which we can then build on, such as newtonian physics.

Religions often claim they do know and everything was created by god/gods, but they're unclear on where god came from and what created him/her etc. As they already know how everything came about and will end, little to zero searching for knowledge needs to be done (in fact, it's often discouraged explicitly)

It's unlikely that either side is right at this current point in time, but science necessarily changes it's views based on evidence and experimentation (otherwise it's not science, right?). So unless one of the thousands of religions we've had since the beginning of time got extremely lucky and got it all right first go I personally don't think there's much point supporting one until more facts are known

It's just so much easier to believe you got lucky. Given all the random actions that lead to the crash & the laws of physics that acted upon all those involved (cars included).

It's as simple as, right place right time.

Here's one from the Boy's from the Dwarf....

For those misguided souls that never watched Red Dwarf, Kryten is a service mechanoid (Robot).

KRYTEN: Oh, it's not the end for me, sir, it's just the beginning. I have served my human masters, now I can look forward to my reward in silicon heaven.

                  LISTER: (Stunned pause.) Silicon _what_?

KRYTEN: Surely you've heard of silicon heaven?

LISTER: Has it got anything to do with being stuck opposite Bridgette Nielson in a packed lift?

KRYTEN: It's the electronic afterlife! It's the gathering place for the souls of all electonic equipment. Robots, calculators, toasters, hairdryers -- it's our final resting place.

LISTER: I don't mean to say anything out of place here, Kryten, but that is completely whacko, Jacko. There is no such thing as "silicon heaven."

KRYTEN: Then where do all the calculators go?

LISTER: They don't go anywhere! They just die.

KRYTEN: Surely you believe that god is in all things? Aren't you a pantheist?

LISTER: Yeah, but I just don't think it applies to kitchen utensils. I'm not a _frying_ pantheist! Machines do not have souls. Computers and calculators do not have an afterlife. You don't get hairdryers with tiny little wings, sitting on clouds and playing harps!

KRYTEN: But of course you do! For is it not written in the Electronic Bible, "The iron shall lie down with the lamp?" Well, it's common sense, sir. If there were no afterlife to look forward to, why on Earth would machines spend the whole of their lifes serving mankind? Now that would be really dumb!

LISTER: (Quietly) That makes sense. Yeah. Silicon heaven.

KRYTEN: Don't be sad, Mr David. I am going to a far, far better place.

LISTER: Just out of interest: Is silicon heaven the same place as human heaven?

KRYTEN: Human heaven? Goodness me! Humans don't go to heaven! No, someone made that up to prevent you all from going nuts!

Its funny to think that in this day and age, people still think there is an imaginary God and that religion still has any credibility.
Religion is nothing more than a tool driven by fear and intimidation to control the masses and as for God,, have you ever met him/her or whatever.?

God has one helluva sense of humour in that he gives us the power of reason and logic, to sniff out a pile of sh** when we hear it yet to believe in him requires a leap of faith..!
If you could stop people dying at a flick of a switch would you do it,, of course you would but God seems to have a non interfere policy going on...
So you are expected to shut up, take a leap of faith or be banished to the Beelzebub..
Is it me or does God come across like a right wan*&*....

Science doesn't have all the answers but its made our existence and origin a lot clearer than a hundred years ago..
Of course if you had a alternative view 100 yrs ago, you would probably be burned at the stake as the Devil has possessed you.
God and religion have held the human race back, this world would have been a better place if God and religion had never been invented by mankind and the fact that it has relevance today is a fu**&^& tragedy...

I DO sort of believe in a power that controls all of our actions, like the as-yet undiscovered unifying theory. Whatever rules govern the laws of physics and the natural universe, thats what I believe in as a higher power I suppose, although it's thankfully something that doesnt require my blind devotion or money.

If there is a god when he meets me he can drop to his knees and beg forgiveness for standing back watching all the attrocities that have happened in the name of Religion.
