anybody out there know about digtail cameras ?

i have a sony f717 cybershot, when i take a photo with it , and go to look at it , on the lcd or pc , it shows it with red bars across it , if i make a flim and play it back its fine , any ideas welcome, michael ,,

dont know if this applys to your actual model or not but does with some sonys

go to your set up menu and look and see if you have the monitor options. Sometimes it is set for review only. Check your manual for more details.

thanks for your answer ALLCOOP. i have looked in the settings , no options there to change things there, look like i stuck with it , no camera shops here in dublin , that will fix digital cameras , the shop were i got dont want to know as ever,, but were happy to take ?1.300 off me for it , but there you go" thanks again for your time , mick..

May be worth a try to ring Sony and ask if the free repair is still available as people where still getting them fixed last year.

Don't have to apologise, its not a late response, allycoops and myself did a wee bit of digging out on the net and we hope it helps you out. thats what we are all here for, if it doesnt help then post back and we will try again.
