    PHOTO SOFTWARE

I am looking for a good programme that i can make posters / flyers up for my shop .

all i use just now is paint and microsoft works but the final outcome is not the greatest as you are limited to what you can do ,

i went to a printers to see about making posters and flyers and things up for but they want ?30 to ?50 for artwork .

I am doing most of the work as i do a quick template on my microsoft word then show them and they just make it look better and charge me ?40 . ~~~~in rip off

does any one know a good programme for doing things like this ie making small posters flyers etc .

also where is the best place to get them from and a idea of how much it would cost as i dont want to pay ?100s

i know photo shop is used a lot by people but dont know if this would be an good for me .

    thanks

I have no experience in this field but a google search brought up this...

Easy Flyer Creator 1.0 Download - Easy Flyers Creator Software with Templates

If you want to use it, I'm sure we could find a dodgy copy.

just get Adobe photoshop or Adobe illustrator.
i use Paintshop Pro (been using that since 98 and never bothered to relearn everything for photoshop)

Torrents Search Engine will have a link to just about anything you would need.
if piracy isnt your bag then have a look at the GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Tool, its basicly open source photoshop) found here: GIMP - for Windows

                for "lay out" programs try:
                MS Publisher
                MS Word
                Quark Express
                Photoshop (not so much)
                Illustrator (not at all)
                Page Plus
                Graphics from Open Office
                Gimp (only a bit)
                Scribus Desk top publishing.
the last three are Free and, though i have never used Scribus, do a very good job. even better you dont have to nick them, so no cracks needed.
Quark would be my choice, but its not for the nub. so Page plus or MS publisher.

mind you Gimp runs it close. the compressed image formats, do seem better in PHOTOSHOP. thing is PhotoShop is great for images, not so hot on the layout side though, i have found.
