I had a call from a friend of mine few days back and he told me that when he called RAC to rescue my broken car on the motorway he told me that the RAC man said he put petrol in the tank therefore they will not help him to toe the car to his home destination.
The rescue man said that he will take the car to his home destination if the driver will become member of RAC there and then, and not the owner of the car.
Eventually he decided to become RAC member and they toed the car to his destination, next day we had a look at the car and found out it was the big-end bearing broken and the RAC driver lied to him about the petrol in the tank.
What I want to know for instant if some one did put petrol in a diesel engine, can the RAC driver got the rights to refuse help to the member of the RAC???
